You may think that this video is just some gimmicky viral video…
But nope, this workout does exist in real life!
I chanced upon some free passes on social media and decided to seize the opportunity to check out the hype.
Would also like to take a moment to say that I did the entire registration process in Swedish. It was a couple of emails back and forth because we needed to fix a date so…*pat self on back*.
We jumped along to a mix of old pop hits and club hits. Must say that jumping to Witch Doctor definitely did put a smile on my face.
Here is a photo I got from their Facebook page and another one of us post workout:
I cannot say that it was a super tough workout but definitely something really fun to try. I liked that the teacher was constantly reminding us about posture so I was trying to ensure that my core was engaged the whole time and staying in a half squat position for maximum effect.
In case you are wondering, the class was held in Swedish but it was definitely not difficult to follow and this is the studio we visited: Jumping Stockholm.
I am not sure if I would go back again because the prices for a class are slightly steep but if it was cheaper, I would not mind heading back once in awhile to change up my (currently nonexistent) workout routine.
We rewarded ourselves with a nice bagel breakfast after the early Saturday morning workout and I had a cup of hot chocolate because…I still do not drink coffee. Ja, jag är inte svensk.
p.s. In case you have not seen it already, do check out my new video on Youtube!
Till the next time!
